Welcome to issue 3 of The Dawn. When the idea to do a fanzine dedicated to the UPN television show The Burning Zone was first proposed I had my doubts that we would be able to pull off such a feat. But miracles do happen and you now hold in your hands the third issue of The Dawn. A zine is made up of the work of many people and I would like to thank The Dawn staff for all their hard work. Despite busy schedules and real life hassles they came through once again. Thank you to Mina, Marburg, Clare, Lori, Terri, Jeanne and Cheryl. Great job everyone.
This issue Cheryl Bowman, Wanda Whitfield, Marburg, C.M.M., Terri Grate and Jeanne Powers return to bring us more of their outstanding work. Lori Jensen reports on the first Burning Zone family reunion held in this past summer in California. We even have pictures. Debuting this issue is Silke Schmiedeberg a new author/poet/artist from Germany. A special thanks to Silke for providing the lovely photos in this issue. And last but not least thanks to Ransom for bringing us an unpublished Burning Zone script by Rob Gilmer.
As always we love to hear from you. Feedback is welcome. Send all submissions for future issues and letters of comment to:
The Dawn, PO Box 620799, Atlanta, GA 30362, USA
Or you can email us at:
mystra9@worldnet.att.net
Now get comfortable, put on your biohazard gear and prepare to enter The Burning Zone....
